FAQs

Q.

What is PrepareOC?

A.

PrepareOC is the County of Orange’s comprehensive incident preparedness, response and recovery program. The goal of PrepareOC is to develop a coordinated approach to preparedness planning for County government, local governments and organizations, and the County’s constituents.

The PrepareOC Web site makes critical information available to the people who need it on an anytime, anywhere basis. The site is a place to develop, post and share the information needed to plan for, respond to and recover from emergencies, disasters and business disruptions. The PrepareOC site has four sub sites: PlanOC, ReadyOC, RespondOC and RecoverOC. Authorized users can access these sites from the PrepareOC portal.
