PrepareOC
PrepareOC is a collaborative Web site designed to facilitate business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response preparedness and planning efforts. The site enables Orange County agencies, Operational Area member jurisdictions, participating non-profits and area partners to share resources, documentation, communications, training materials and more in a secure, online environment.
PrepareOC provides a reliable Web presence accessible from any location at any time. Users click on the portal login link to enter a secure collaboration environment. The site features four distinct sections in addition to a top-level PrepareOC page. Each section focuses on a different aspect of incident preparedness, response and recovery. User roles and access rights are customized to meet the needs of individual sections and program initiatives.

PlanOC focuses on risk analysis and the steps to take to prevent problems before they occur. The site features information on safety training, risk mitigation, County policies, facilities maintenance, and preventive measures. |

ReadyOC supports the development and maintenance of the public-facing ReadyOC campaign and Web site. Available at www.ReadyOC.org, the public site is Orange County’s online emergency preparedness resource. |

The OC Sheriff’s Department Emergency Management Bureau (EMB) maintains RespondOC. The site facilitates and supports County of Orange and Operational Area efforts to prepare for and respond to emergencies. RespondOC enables collaboration among the County, cities, special districts and response organizations such as law enforcement, public works and fire agencies. |
